Double Insulated tool question??????????????????????????

Hi there,
New to this forum so hopefully someone can help! Working at the moment with 110v angle grinders in an industrial setting. Had a read of the instructions for the grinders we are using and it says;

" Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is a risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded "

Problem is, I am working on a structure that is earthed for lightening, is it dangerous for me to use the grinder?? I will am working either in contact with the structure or in very close proximity of the steel (less that 100mm)

Any help is appreciated as I don't get paid enough to get zapped!

That sounds like a Chineese grinder.
The clue is in the title "Double insulated"

Most 110v angle grinders are used around steelwork perfectly safely.

unless you are working 40ft up and cut through the steel girder you are standing on

Look on the bodywork of drill if it has a drawing of a square within a square it is double insulated and you will be fine.
