I got some cheap downlights from wicks a while back, some mr16/35watt 12 volts halogen fixed 'F' marked installation.

Installed them in bathroom as added lights to existing howether they do give off a lot of heat and worried about putting insulation back down in atic.
Was wondering could I just replace lamps with some 12volt mr16 LEDs or would I need different transformers.
Also if I could anyone recomend any ,yellow prefered cheap and nasty as well.

Just another couple of options..you can always make up a few cages with chicken wire which work pretty well, or I have used 4" soil pipe before.

Failing that went to a job the other day and had my head up in the loft and noticed the customer had stuck some terracotta pots over the top... nice

Cheers guys had an idea with old tins but didn't want to post it as thought it might be frowned upon.
flower pots are better or else with tins you'll get into endless debates about whether or not they should be earthed. lol.
