An addition to my thread yesterday. I went and bought the lights today IP65 fire rated seem very decent quality. My next question is it best to just link from light to light a a seperate junstion box on each fitting with flex inbetween?

Also if junstion boxes are the way you guys would do it can you give me a link to what i need to buy tomorrow.

You aren't suppose to use j201 anymore because they don't have a cord grips the only way you could use them is if you clip the cable as it enters the JB and fix it to a joist but then they are non excessable and so can't have screw terminals in affect ruling them out for use with D/L. Unless you've got accesses to the loft in which case you have to go through the rigmarole of clipping and fixing them far easier with a maintenance free JB.
