Hi i am installing 6 2x70w light fittings in a factory, as its a long run I have wired six kliks outlets in 2.5mm singles, I am now deciding if the 3 core 1.5mm flex I have is suitable for the klik plug ends that will supply each light. I am putting on a 10amp breaker so that should be sufficient, but I have read in the kliks online manual that you could wire the kliks in 2.5mm and put on a 16amp breaker then have each light fitting on a 1mm flex, they say this is allowed because overload is not possible as its only feeding 1 light and is only allowed to feed one light and if its a short circuit than the current will be more than high enough to trip the mcb. What do people think of this? thanks

I'd only be using 1.5mm flex in a klik if I fancied a struggle. 0.75mm would be more than adequate.

1.5mm flex into a Klik is fine, but please expect repetitive strain injury within your hands and fingers if doing them all day. (1.0mm or 0.75mm should be used as above).

You would have thought they'd have a switch to flick on and off to engage an override. Not on each PIR but an actual light switch
