Drawing program

Can anybody reccomend an electrical circiut drawing program for the pc ?

I tried smartdraw but cant seem to get on with it or find the symbols i need

We generally use AutoCAD along with electrical library add-ons. Also visio for simple stuff, you can make your own symbols with visio and there's a few pre-made packs floating around.

There's other threads on the forum about drawing packages if you use the search tool.
