I'm looking for some driveway security,
The plan is for a gated front garden, with sensors to active all the security lights and an audible chime.

Best to stick with wired products as the driveway is being done anyway.

have used these before. 12V sensors wired back to a control box which has manual override and a buzzer. controller then powers your security lights @ 240V

12v infrared sensors across driveway controlling a relay to bring on lights and bell chime is a possibility.

If you can wait until September then Hikvision a releasing a floodlight camera.

I think any external sensor will drive you mad with a chime. Foliage and the neighbours cat with have it chiming constantly.

I bought a kit from Amazon...it worked just fine. battery powered sensor signalled a plug-in chime in the house, and a PIR flood did the rest. It was ÂŁ20, it's still working 5 years on.

and I have Hikvision camera which alerts me to any significant movement, and is scalable. It works fine too.
getting one with a built-in flood would indeed be a good choice
