Hey guys about to work on an existing bar/restaurant with 2 80A supplies. No one wants to pay to have it changed to one supply. i need both supplies as the total power needed is more than the 80A each supply has.
However the floor space it is supplying can be done in such a way that the supplies are not mixed and there is no cross over in supplies on the various circuits. However the fire alarm and emergency lighting will be crossing over.
My question is.. are there any regulations regarding this issue?
thanks

Are they both single or 3 phase?
Or Is this 2 separate supplies on the same phase?
Or different phases?

Do they enter the building at the same point?
Are they close to each other?

This is why all commercial installations are marked up and clearly stated.....100A BS88 fuse "FEED TO DB1" second BS88 fuse "FEED TO DB2...fire alarm switched fused spur "FEED FROM DB1"
