Duel live feed.

I have a fused switch supplying a cooker hood extractor and light. When replacing the hood, I discovered the switch has two live feeds. Why would this be? Thanks.

are you a DIYer Cecil?? if so Id suggest calling an electrician as cooker hoods are in kitchens and (Im not right uop on domestic english stuff) I think that comes under notifiable part PEE

It could be that the fused spur controlling the cooker hood is part of the socket outlet ring final circuit.
