Evening all, after years of happy erbauer henry wall chasing i'm sad to say erbauer died, i tried screwfix to get another but they were all out of stock so i went to machine mart and bought the clarke chaser, what a mistake! The erbauer/henry partnership used to leave a bit of dust in the air but this new clarke/henry setup is not good at all, dust everywhere! Henry might just as well have stayed on the van, has anyone else got this clarke chaser and if so how do you get on with it?

I fixed the clarke, there were so many openings in the guard for the dust to get out so i wrapped duct tape around it and hey presto not a speck of dust anywhere...ok maybe a bit

Serves him right for being so messy:devil2:! I know that the blades may heat up and wear out quicker now but i couldn't have carried on the way it was, trouble is now all the dust is being sucked up and henrys bag needs emptying every half hour :biggrin5:

Just ordered the sparky chaser from sfx, and found makro online are selling Nilfisk multi 20t vac for ÂŁ72 inc vat. Looks ok to me, anyone know if they are anywhere near as good as the all conquering Henry?
