Alright boys what would be the best way to go........
I'm re-wiring a kitchen in a ground floor residential flat.I've moved a couple of sockets and spurred off existing circuit for a couple as well.
I've added under unit lighting off existing circuit.
Added 1 pendant in a hall cupboard off existing cicuit.
Added 2 bedroom wall lights off existing circuit.
All the lights are on the same circuit (small flat).

My question is thus......issue minor works for each light added in the different locations and each socket which has been spured off or can I get away with sticking them all on a E.I.C.
Although the protective device remains the same for each circuit, the cable routes have changed.
Any ideas lads
appreciated

Yeah cheers thought it would be the best way to go_Only use one internet credit as well then when registering the kitchen work!

i would issue a minor works certificate for each CIRCUIT, not each fitting, you have only modified existing circuits not installed new ones

Minor works for each existing circuit altered or extended.....either would be correct but if you issue an EIC you will need a lot more info than you would for M/W....more time.

If you read the OP there are only TWO circuits altered....therefore two minor works....thats just two sheets....I think you will find a domestic EIC is three.

I'm in the EIC camp on this one, looks better from a customer point of view as well rather than having multiple certificates to show the work has been carried out.

Well if you read it correctly it does say they are all on the same circuit so it would be a minor works cert , and ensure the bonding is up to scratch to

I read it more ambiguously than that - my initial read was at least two, and possibly three circuits total. Three would have made it an EIC in any case. More than one anyways is debatable - I still say EIC is a better presentation than multiple certs.
