I have discovered that my incoming gas and water pipes are not bonded to the CU.

The gas and water pipes are situated near to one another, but some distance from the CU.

Is it acceptable to bond the water pipe to the gas pipe and run a single bonding cable back to the CU? Or must I run two separate bonding cables, one from each pipe, back to the CU?

I have seen it where the cut cables are put into a single 25mm lug and bolted down, if the bolt is taken off then the cable is still as one

Doesn't matter far as I know. Some installs will have an external earth terminal whereas in others all the earths and bonding go straight to earth bar inside the C.U.

im just about to do a job bonding the gas and water, total run is 20m including clamps, clips and a length of trunking.
got to take a few floor boards up, but there nice and easy, should take about hour and half, so i said £80. does that sound about right??

i have done jobs were i thought getting the boards up would be easy and turned out they was not easy
if in the corner can be a headache
