Earthing again

Ok So we have another question on earth arrangments

setup

array on two story building
with transformer in inverter say SB3800

with velux windows on roof and panels are within arm reach



is the array required to be earthed ?


if so does that mean arrays on single storey building would need to be earth


I am asking the question as I just remembered that a tutor told us that it is required to be earthed but I may be wrong ?
I looked on earthing tree but to me the answer would be no looking at it

Class II Inverter cables and panel? leave floating, are you confusing it with transformerless?

No it just somthing a tutor told me once but it was a few years ago now
