Earthing armoured cable

I'm installing an EHU on my drive to plug in my motorhome. The instructions say to earth the armoured cable to the earth point in the termination box but on the commando socket there is no point. The socket is mounted on a piece of angle iron set in the ground so can I earth to that or should I use a new earth rod?

This is a slightly scary question to be honest!
The armoured cable needs to be earthed via the correct cable glands to the installation's earthing system.
I strongly recommend you seek the help of an electrician,
