Earthing arrangement???

I wonder where the main earth goes, says I ? ? ?
That'll be nowhere then! So the question is, who's fault would this be?

Doesn't look like thats ever been connected to anything.

You could use a constant force spring and braid kit to create an MET to connect the MEC to, assuming it is infact a TN-S supply.

I think I would involve the DNO on this one, explain the situation to them and see what they say.....probably tell you to 'TT' it.

Yep found the same myself but nowhere to connect and because there was an RCD the DNO took their time.

This is in my house, I decided to see what earthing arrangement I had as I progressed through my domestic installer course.

if there was an existing earth supplied by DNO, either TN-S or TNC-s, then it's their responsibility to maintain it at their cost.

So basically I ring asking what the earthing arrangement is, they tell me (hopefully), then I break into the old "while we're on the subject .... you're earth is knadgered" ?
