Earthing & Bonding

I have been asked to price for a small contract to carry out necessary electrical alterations for kitchen refits which mostly will only involve the use of a minor works cert. I am fully aware that the earthing and bonding needs to be verified for suitability before altering or adding circuitry within the kitchen as well as confirming the main supply adequacy. My question is Will i need to also confirm the bonding arrangements/ protective measures within the bathroom or will this not be necessary as it falls outside the scope of the works i have been asked to carry out?

No, bathrooms nothing to do with the job if not specified on the contract.

When you say minor works cert. only are you meaning non-notifiable?
Earthing conductors are (until April).

Some of the jobs only involve repositioning an existing socket or adding an extra spur for a W/M or Fan which only requires a MEWC. Still notifiable though.

Notifiable if in kitchen.

Yes. Some people think -
Notifiable - EIC, Not notifiable MEWC.
Wrong but I just thought that may have been what you meant.
