super

Hi all, scratching my head with this one so any help would be Great.basically I'm working in a block of flats, they all have gas supply pipes and installation pipework but have since had the gas within each property plugged of for one reason or another all the meters have been removed in each flat, but does the pipework still need bonding in 10mm as it's introducing a potential difference into the property.i can't prove if the pipework had been cut out elsewhere or not but it certainly runs through the flat still.

im thinking yes it should be but would love to know for sure and see an official source on the matter to refer to should the question need answering again.

many thanks

If this block of flats is a concrete framed building, with concrete floors/ceilings, i'd be very surprised if this now discontinued gas pipework wasn't extraneous and be well under the magic 23K ohm value.
