French President Francois Hollande suggested earlier this week that the Euro is currently overvalued, and that tighter controls are needed over the exchange rate, however, German Chancellor Angela Merkel's spokesman, Steffen Seibert, rebutted the remarks and stated that historically speaking "the Euro is not overvalued at the moment".
