EIC certificate after a CU change

Guys
Can you advise how to complete the following sections on a EIC certificate after a Consumer Unit change. The reason I ask is this is the part of the market I am aiming for so to begin what is the correct way to complete the following parts and could you give me some guidance on what you would put in these sections.

1. Designer Name and address plus BS7671...............amended to..................(date) except for departures as follows


2.Construction Name and address plus BS7671...............amended to..................(date) except for departures as follows

3. Inspection & Testing Name and address plus BS7671...............amended to..................(date) except for departures as follows

4. As for the R1+R2 or R2 reading can I do this by calculation I have noticed in the text books that they appear to add up with the Ze+Zs readings.

It's BS 7671....2008.....ammended to N/A as it hasn't been ammended yet.

And no, you cant calculate R1+R2 or R2 they must be measured.

Thanks Lenny can I also enquire if you have to complete the designer and contructor name and address as you are only changing the board.

Also forgot to ask can you give me an example of the departures sections ie is there a standard phrase you put in as you did not do the whole installation ?

If this is a domestic scenario, could you not use the domestic EIC, there is only one box to sign on these.

If it is a commercial/industrial scenario and you are responsible for a 3 areas then just fill in the Design, Construction and Inspection and Testing box.

Thanks again Lenny when I bought the tester I also ordered the (Kewtech) pads and did not order the domestic/part p pad as I live in Scotland where part p does not exist. So me thought this would not be accepted up here. I take it the deisigner or constructor part is omitted from this form ?

If any Scottish spark is reading this can you advise please.

Sorry to sound like a novice with the handle of oldtimer but I have changed enough CUs over the years I just want to make sure I cross the Ts and dot the Is where the documentation is concerned.

Domestic EIC's are fine to use in a domestic scenario, no matter where. Even though you dont have part p in Scotland you would still use these certs.
