hi guys....
whats the average times you or the company give you to do this report,we have just been told 2 hrs thats with inspect test report and fill in the pda. personally i said is a joke and lots of things are and will be missed.

how can you complete a eicr in 2 hours? you ain't got time to get out the van. they must want you to make it up.

Put it this way , in my last domestic PIR , only 2 weeks ago , it took my 1.5 hrs just to do the paperwork.

i'd spend 1 hour on a visual before even getting the MFT out of it's box.

The quickest one ever was a one bed flat. Cooker, 2x lighting, one ring with five outlets and heating. Testing took around an hour with another hour to sort out the paperwork. The property was also empty. I've tested bigger training boards... :lol:

As usual some one without a clue will have done a time and motion study without actually being on a job and the management will happily run with this as it means more jobs in one day = more money.
