Hi all

Just wondering your thoughts on how many domestic EICRs per day could be completed? The properties are small scale apartments, occupied and usually within same housing block.

How many do you think is this realistic? (based on a 8-10 hour working day.)

cheers

I would agree 2 at a push, An average 3 bed house with a standard 4 to 6 way board is about half a dayish or a little more for me.

managed correctly i would say three is achievable in the same block and if you had a apprentice / helper. I looked into doing something similar for a job once, i would have had templated letter to arrange entry and 'preparation' of premises.

i just quoted for a EICR at a vet's. 3 boards, each is 12-13 way. then there's the aggro of not being able to turn things off due to animals being treated/x-rayed/ etc. it's all pretty newish installation though. i've estimated 2 full days, but think that may not be enough.

12-13 circuits x 3 -

So 12 x 0.5hr + 1hr per board + documentation.

Which I make 21 hours - so 2.5 days unless you are lucky or want to cut corners
