All I can say is that OTHER providers accomodated the 1st January 2012 deadline as did most of the software companies who write software.

NICEIC need to explain to the UK why they think THEY can overide the BS7671 regulations!!!

In short its because NIC seem to think they are the be all an end all!

What bothers me more than them doing it, is no one in a position to do so is pulling them up about it. I've been thinking about going NIC EIC AC for the past year on and off, would love to see what an inspector would say if I showed a PIR dated beyond 1st Jan 2012.

Go on I dare you..

lol

Well guys as you know I have been banging on about this since the start of the year and yes I have heard from 2 guys with NICEIC that they have to continue with the PIR documentation until June 2012 and this goes against everything was was supposed to be set up for 1st of January.

And for that reply that I got well BULL*$ÂŁ$ comes to mind and yes I think they are a law unto themselves hence why the abuse of their position

I simply think that if the NICEIC want their members and others to take note and follow BS7671 they should be setting the example of following it themselves

I do hope NICEIC "executive" members read this as I agree with Oldtimer and they should be ashamed of themselves.
