EICR from PIR

Can it be confirmed that the EICR now replaces the PIR & can be used for a periodic & as it suggests for a initial inspection of a out of date install?

Silly one i know as only the EICR is shown in reg n OSG but customers are ringing up still for periodic n being new to this side of the game although i am the one with the knowledge i hope lol its confusing me slightly ;-)

EICR replaced the periodic. Latest amendment to BS7671.

EICRs took over from PIR's as of 1st Jan 2012.

It's still a periodic inspection, just the report is now called an EICR instead of a PIR.

you will have to order the new forms,they have some extra things in it.you can get them from nic the green forms,they have for domestic and for comercial
