Hi all, is it acceptable or was it in previous regs if not anymore? To take the gas bond straight off the TNS connection shared with main Earth? See pic.

Thanks

I think I'd be getting the DNO in to sort that 951 clamp on the incomer and possibly the service head as it looks like it may be fused on the neutral as well as the live

ok thank you.. is this the way they used to do it? It’s seems to be a cut out I’ve never seen before? Would you Earth it from gas clamp straight to CCU instead?

At some point it is possible the main earth terminal has been removed for whatever reason, hard to know who fitted the 951 clamp on the incomer but that may be when the MET was removed

It would probably be better to take the bonding to the CU although I would be careful messing around with the 951 clamp on the incomer in case you damage the cable and it may be better to speak to the DNO before doing anything
