hey guys just got a date through for elecsa assessment. got a guy called phil noyce. anyone had him? would be so gratefull for any advice and previous questions asked etc etc. nervous is an understatment!!

Just make sure your publications are up to date no 16th edidtion BS,OSG or GN3 !!

He will concentrate questions on BS7671 changes so expect to name some:
Zs table changes for BS7671 eg rule of thumb 80%
Disconnection time changes from 16th, a lot of people are still quoting 5s for fixed appliances
Voltage drop app 12 bs7671
Use of rcds for additional protection
requirements for rooms containing baths or showers, eg new guidance on supp bonding, rcd`s, sockets in these rooms, zones and suitable IP codes for the zones

jam.
dont worry about it. long as your half sensible you'll be fine.as trebor says make sure your confident with the OSG and the tables. just done mine and it was mostly OSG stuff. minimum distance of sockets in bathrooms was a question i had, and smoke detectors being on a frequently used circuit with battery back up was onother. rcd disconnection times. diversity. and cable sizing were all questions as well. good luck.
