I had my first Part P assessment today, a bit worrying as I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but it went really well and I think that I quite enjoyed it in a strange kind of way. He asked quite a lot of questions, more than I thought he would, on BS7671 and on each one of the relevant parts of the building regulations. I managed to come up with all the answers though and he gave me an A. 
I've been reading posts on this forum for a while now and I think that has really helped. I've found a lot of really useful information and also posts which have set my mind thinking about things, which has usually resulted in searching out other useful posts, so thanks everyone who's contributed to the wealth of information.
