Last night tried to order some new elecsa eicr forms but couldn't find them on their website.. contacted them this morning only to be told they no longer do the branded forms for eicr as they have no way of monitoring their use and therefore cannot take responsibility for them. They said I can download blank ones from the Internet and insert my elecsa number on them. What a con! I use the elecsa brand to give my customers reassurance they are using a reputable contractor. Might as well now join the masses of unregistered and just carry on regardless
Hum......... What hypocrites. They have countless Muppets signed up and do very little to ensure decent workmanship, let alone follow up on reports of dodgy work. BUT use their logo and you are in trouble!

I can see their point as you are not paying them to validate you as a suitably experienced and competent person to conduct EICR, nor have you been assessed for it. Certsure will try and push you in the direction of NICEIC approved contractor if it's a recognisable badge you want.
Stroma full scope includes domestic part P notifiable work, commercial work, PAT, EICR, and third party notification all vouched for, for less money than Elecsa.

Nothing wrong at all with being unregistered, looking like it's the future now for me too, they were happy to take the money but didn't even think of notifying of changes
