Just want the heads up on who to go with?

I just passed with Elecsa and they are fantastic.

Some of my tutors used to br NICEIC, but have sinced moved over to Elecsa, as they as stated "run by contractors for contractors".

Best ergards,

Just had my first ELECSA assessment this afternoon. Was running really late on my re-wire and was still chasing out this morning. Was going to cancel but thought I'd go ahead as it was paid for anyway and I might get a 'heads up'. I had completed 4 of 10 circuits so energised these and completed all tests for certificate.

Part finished the certificate and left other circuits at first fix stage.

Assessor said he was able to see work clearer than if it were completed, covered and decorated over. Over 3 hours later, loads of regs questions, testing Ze, RCD, loads of 'what if' questions on readings and looking at complaints register , contracts/estimates, E A W Regs, Part P, Insurance, Calibration cert, Risk assessment, Health and Safety etc etc. ................................ and passed !!!!

So back to the subject of this thread,..... go with ELECSA. Cheaper, efficient and friendly ... but I would say that wouldn't I !!

What area are you from pete ive got my assessment in 11 days time with elecsa and do not really what to expect im pretty much up to scratch with building regs got public liability my tester calibrated the regs book onsite guide all to hand thou not too sure with the risk assessment.
