Hi im a qualified electrician am looking to get part p registerd to enable me to do some private work on weekends, was wondering if elecsa was a good place to start?

Well i would say yes i have been with them for 3 years now they are always helpfull and dont pressure you they are there to help you ,and have technical support which is next to nun , Elecsa is part of the ECA group , i would highly reccomend them , as duram has said join and stay with

when you say technical support can you call them if you are unsure of something and they will point you in the right direction??

Just passed with Elecsa. fantastic. so helpful.......very open and understanding. i compared, and ECA group as well soo...what i did find out which i thought interesting, was Elecsa have a scheme which provides direction and insurance to client(person who has had work done) for problems with installations in future.
so if a installer under their shceme slips their net and does bodge work which in years times when he aint tracable the insurance will pay for issues....WHich i thought was great option. The client decides if they want take that out. all you do when installing is give em details of how they can get a quote...INTERESTING Thing is the guy said that NIC and napit dont have this scheme but charge you an extra 1.50 ontop of every notice to cover this issue which may never happen...so more money out your pocket...elecsa said that aint their style and want to not just try and reap more money from installers so devised this scheme that meets requirements of goverment and not any extra on your pocket..thought this spoke volumes to me..

Another vote for Elecsa, both Elecsa and napit seemed good on the phone but Elecsa won it for me as they could assess me slighty quicker. Gave up on NIC when I was put on hold to many times when trying to give them my hard earned cash!!!

It’s sad that you had to say no more money to them for them to pull their fingers out.
