Elecsa Vs NICEIC Customer Warranty ?

This is my understanding.. Im sure you'll let me know if i have this wrong....

Elecsa..
A warranty is offered the customer after Notifiable work has been completed, This is completely down to the customer if they want to pay for this extended 6 year warranty to cover work done.


NICEIC..
A Customer warranty is automaticaly given to every job completed my the contractor, (Provided the Electrician pays the additional £1.50 fee ontop of his £1.50 Cert fee.


Am i right ?
If so surely an NICEIC Spark will get the job over an Elecsa spark evertime as every customer can be gauranteed a warranty on the work before you even start the job.

Elecsa want to see a paper trail showing offered warranties, I add a few lines to my estimates stating what is required as part of my registration & attach details of warranty. This is sent with all estimates & seems to work, plus ticking box for assesor.
