electa course

has anyone else tried the electa course 2382?.

Dont waste your money on the course you dont need it. What you need is a good working knowledge of BS 7671 you dont need a course for that. I would however recommend the exam simulator as that is the exam to a T. At the end of the test it show you which sections you are weak on and you can print out all the questions and answers to see where you went wrong.


I used it and went from nothing to 94% in the actual exam.

Thanks for the reply acat,
i have been going over the basic theory today to refresh ,but when reading the voltage drop page the calculations for resizing cable and altering cable lengths would seem to be the wrong way around,or i have i read it wrong.

work out the voltage drop yourself

mva x Lb x Length
1000

or if you want the max length of cable you can use

voltage drop x 1000
mva x Lb
