just been to see a job with a persistent tripping on breaker which consisted of electric cooker and hob totalling 8kw wired into a spur jb'd into a radial sockets on a 2.5mm t+e. i explained to client why the breaker was tripping and what needs to be done to bring it up to regs. there response to me was. "theres nothing wrong with it as it was done properly because an electrician did it a few years ago!!!." i am now at home to lie down wondering why did they phone me!!.

Did they also say that electrician was their son who knows about electrics cause he done it in his science lesson at school?

Typical!

My brothers girlfriends cousins friends mate's an electrician and he done it!
