Electric meter traing can some one please

Tell me where i can get this mocopa training to install meters,these energy companies are running this industry as a closed shop,you cant get a job with them unless you have this mocopa training.Now the only reason they wont train you is that they dont want to spend the money so how the hell can you get training this is not on has any one got any ideas????thanks.

Had to have a look as was not directly aware of MOCOPA.

Hmmm, I don't think that you are going to win this one...

[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]MOCOPA does not offer training courses or provide certificates to individuals. Meter Operators are responsible for assessing that meter installers are competent and issue their own certificates (see Appendix 5 - page 74 and Appendix 7 - page 79 in the MOCOPA). If you do not have a competency certificate, the Meter Operator will assess competency against the criteria and issue their certificate where appropriate.[/FONT]

As you said, appears very much to be sealed up...
