Electric shower question

I'm not going to but let's say a house has no shower fitted at all in a domestic household and I wanted to fit one. If you have say sockets and lighting on a 40a breaker, and I wanted to FiT a 8.5kw shower from scratch, would u have to fit another 40a breaker separately for the shower, or would you fit it to the existing 40a breaker with the sockets and lighting? Just a question

Lots of things to take into account Lee, installation method, length of run any roof or wall insulation involved in the run etc.Why do you have lighting and sockets on a 40A breaker???

I no mate I am just saying for example I no you wouldn't have 40a you would have 32 and I no all installation method, just wondered would u take the shower off its only breaker if you no what I mean

a shower must be on it's own MCB. the rating to suit the cable size, which itself is determined by load, installation method, and volt drop calcs.
