Electrical certs and copy's?

Hello I'm fresh out of my time and looking to do my testing and inspection, I'm still learning so always have questions, the one I have today is about certificates and photocopies of those certificates.

Who keeps the written copy and who gets the photocopied version the customer or the electrician.

The original goes to the client and you keep the delicate.has for the copy photo then it should have on it not the original.
