Electrical circuit drawing software

Greetings.

I have seen quite a few circuit diagrams posted on this forum and I am asking can anyone recommend some software.

I would like to post some simple designs for members opinions but don't know a good software package.

A free one would be best.

PCSCHEMATIC - software for automation, electrical installation, hydraulics and pneumatics

Try this its free within the terms of use (basically limited connections and symbols per draft but ample for quick diagrams), easy to pick up without instruction, ive played around with it over a weekend and was comfortable using it after that.

I’m still using Autosketch for Windows 3.11. It’s over 20 years old!
But can turn out stuff like this

Cant knock the age old software Tony but its time you upgraded you ZX48K Spectrum..... we've gone well beyond Manic Miner now

I was up to date! I had a Commodore 64 first.

Then a 286 with 1MB of ram and a 40MB HD. I've still got the invoice, 5p change out of £1200!

The first computer I worked on was a Feranti Argos 1000.
It took up an entire room with it’s teleprinter and punch tape machine.
