Electrical conditions report

Evening Guys,
Quick question. I recently carried out a conditions report teh result of which was unsatisfactory.
After carrying out the necessary remedial work do I then issue a new conditions report or a covering letter stating the work has been carried out and is now satisfactory be the way to go.

As he says - this is the way to do it. Even easier if you have certificate software!

Just issue a cert(s) for the remmedial work you have carried out and leave the EICR as it is. When you inspected it.... it was unsatisfactory, now you have done the work, the MWC or EIC should show that the issues have been done and the install is now satisfactory.

I agree with Jay here, not only does this keep an accurate record for the installation but as it states the EICR is a condition report - it is not the medium to report the remedial work, that is a MWC or an EIC.

You could in the description of works on the EIC/MEWIC state that it is to rectify observations detailed in EICR No. 1234.
