Could anyone recommend a software package that can make the process of electrical design and calculations from a set of drawings a bit simpler?
Ideally, the software would allow me to input all the parameters (cable lengths, type, etc) for each circuit (highlighting any non confirmancies with BS7671) and then give me a nice printout and an electrical design schematic at the end which I can use to submit with to the customer.
Ideally it would also generate a Bill of Materials?
Im willing to pay up to about £500 for this - or my employer is anyway.
Im not sure if it would be cheaper to sub contract out the electrical design or not, I assuem they woudl just use a software package themselves?
