Vacancy for the assembly & wiring of Energy Storage Systems required for an ad hoc/part time upcoming contract in Storrington (West Sussex) area. Duration of upcoming project is 6-8 weeks with the potential of being extended. The rate of pay is dependent on experience and qualifications. The hours required may increase as and when the work load rises. Daily working hours are 9am - 5pm.
- Day to day duties include:
Installation of batteries, inverters & electrical control systems on machinery, control panel building and wiring of various components back to panel as per drawing/specification.
Ensure all electrical fittings/wiring meets the required safety standards, wiring is wired correctly, all electrical connections are tight and there are no loose or extraneous wires.
Conduct an inspection of all electrical aspects and ensure compliance in accordance with the inspection sheets.
Deal professionally, competently and courteously with colleagues in verbal and written communications.
- Experience required:
Must have previous experience of installation of electrical control systems on machinery, control panel build and wiring of various components back to panel.
Ability to digest and follow electrical wiring diagrams.
