Starting as a public limited company.Just finishing Part P have been out of full time electrical work for a while and need advice on equipment testers etc.Looking to work on Domestic dwellings to start with.Any advice reguarding Tools testers etc appreciated.

Test gear-I swear by my Metrel MFT but it comes down to what you're used to mate.

Test kit should defiantly be the first major purchase you make, I would recommend multi-function instead of separates as they are cheaper to keep calibrated and its less kit to be carrying around.

I have had a kewtech for the past 5 years and its been brilliant, if/when it packs up I may be looking into Metrel as everyone seems to rave about them.

Thanks for that I will have a look now for it.Any suggestions wheres the best place to get the Metrel MFT or do I shop around?

There is a online company called TLC Direct, they seem to have a good selection, defiantly worth spending a good bit of time comparing other site too though.
