Hi all
i'm looking to install 10 x 150 watt metal halide fittings onto one C10 amp circuit breaker (7 amp loading). Could anyone tell me if this Mcb will hold in

i could up the circuit breaker to a 16 amp type B the circuit is wired in 6mm
would this be sufficient with discharge lighting
 
Sorry mate figures are wrong me thinks.


150*10*1.8=2700/230=11.8 amps, so 16 amp braker.
Or 2* 6 amp brakers type c

It should hold in OK. A 10AC is better than a 16B. Just done something similar myself. 6x150w + 6x70w on a MEM 10A type3. We started out with 8x150w and 8x70w and this held in, but I was able to split some of the load onto another circuit.
