electrical improver advice please

hi all i need some advice please. i have sucssfully completed my 2330 level 2 & 3 two years ago have been working as an electrical improver mainly domestic work a few commercail i have also got experince working on fire alarms. i am looking to achieve my 17th edition and was wondering do have have 2 go for my nvq level 3 to become an fully qulifierd electrician? what do i need to start apllying for an electricans postion withen a comapny? ive already done my am2 when i done my 2330 my tutor said how he doesnt understand y we have 2 do the am2 again if we go 4 the nvq3 as we already do it in the 2330
