NOW THAT THE PIR REPORT HAS BEEN SUPERCEDED BY THE EICR IS THEIR A CERTAIN WAY THESE HAVE TO BE FILLED OUT.

BASICALLY WE USE AMTECH SOFTWARE AND AFTER YOU HAVE FILLED ALL THE NORMAL DETAILS IN IT GIVES YOU THE OPTION TO FILL OUT 3 PAGES FOR THE SCHEDULES OF ITEMS INSPECTED FOR MULTI BOARD USE , WHICH IF YOU HAVE A LARGE INSTALLATION TAKES A VERY LONG TIME TO DO. BUT AS IT GIVES YOU TICK BOX TO EITHER PRINT AND VERIFY WHEN YOU MASTER THE CERT ARE THESE NEEDED OR IS IT A OPTION OF THE CLIENT

I am not familiar with the Amtech software, have you spoken to them?

When I have done a EICR on a site with a more than one board, I don't do a separate schedule of inspections for each board, just one for the whole site.

Has your caps lock stuck on?

sorry about the caps it just gives the option for you to include 1 for every db with more boxes than just the one you would fill in at the start of the cert for the whole installation. it appears a lot of people are still doing periodic inspection reports, which i thought wernt applicable any more

EICR's upto 100A. Grey area over that. Not familiar with the software either, but so long as what you do conforms to BGB example I cant see a problem. Marry up the software you see with the example in the BGB?

i just do the one. it gives you the option whether you want to add the additional tick sheets. I recently tested a high school. if i filled in all the extra boxes i'd be spending more time in the office than on the job!
