personally i cant believe any of these deadline dates anymore, been going on for ages. i registered up in 2011 when it was supposted too end 2 years later and several ending dates later. i personally will be surprised if it does end anytime soon.

you're right, but even so, if i wanted the nvq i'd rather do the 2356 than the 2357. it'll work out cheaper in the long run - cheaper course and no AM2 to stump up for. so it's probably a good thing that it's been extended.

they do like to create a panic with imaginary deadline dates though. i have a funny feeling that the 2015 final completion date for the 2356 will end up being extended as well.
