What is the difference between EAL LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA IN electronic/ electrical engineering and a C and G CERTIFICATE LEVEL 3 in electrical installation?

Essentially the same qualification as each other - one from one exam board the other from another. Both are fully recognized, and both count towards your technical knowledge. Do whatever one is cheaper for you.
PLEASE NOTE: The EAL lv3 is not a five day course, but 2yrs full time or 3yrs part-time.

does the EAL diploma not contain more than the 2330 tech certs? i don't know, i'm just guessing that the diplomas are more advanced as the new 2357 diploma has L2&3 tech certs, the NVQ L3 and the AM2 combined.

The EAL Level 3 Diploma Iam undertaking consists of the following 8 units:-
Engineering and Environmental Health And Safety.
Engineering Organisational Efficiency And Improvement.
Computer Aided Design Techniques.
Electrical And Electronic Principles.
Maintenance Of Mechanical Systems.
Electrical Testing And Commissioning.
Building Electrical Maintenance.
Installation Of Electrical Equipment.
