hi im new to this forum and just wanted to ask a couple of questions about becoming a qualified electrician and what im doing now.

i have 2330 level 2 and im currently looking for an apprenticeship or a job to get some on site experience and to get money to do the other courses i need too do to become a qualified electrician.

Q.

  • is it necessary to have level 3 or can i still get a job with level 2
  • how long do you reckon it will take from now to be fully qualified

Btw im 18 and from London so if you know any apprenticeships or jobs can you link me please

you dont need the l3 to get a job as many apprentices get taken on without any quals. but i would say certainly do the l3 and the nvq if poss. as for getting fully qualified thats one that goes alongside "fully competent" as you can have all the quals without any competency or on site experience. btw welcome to the forum
