As a working spark its my turn to attend a health and safety meeting wich we hold every month and we disguss any safety concerns anybody got any stories or health and safety issues they want to share??we do cary out fortnightly tool box talks aswell??cheers

Think you will find the reason for the meeting is to raise any H & S issues you have within your company, eg: unsafe working practices.

But sometimes they can used to raise an issue which may be affecting the whole industry.

toolbox talks were when they asked us if there ws anything we noticed and wanted to address. we on the ground

a few years ago i was working for a company on a new buils fire service HQ. was ordered to wire up around 100 klik boxes standing on the top step of a 10 rung stepladder. these were expected to be done in 2 days. i told them B******s

Yep, drilling asbestos was foolish (uniformed teenager at the time).

Smoking tabacco at the same time was probably as foolish as drilling the asbestos in the first place.
