Ive just started my spark training, and just wondered before i decide on a field to specialise in if there is any drastic difference in pay rates?

Do domestic installers earn more than commercial or industrial ones?
Is there a demand in certain areas of work that leads to demand (and more regular work) i.e. PV

Im not solely motivated by money, just didnt want to write an area off without considering all factors.

Cheers guys!

industrial and commercial sparks tend to earn more than domestic, but i can only talk from my own experience.
heavy industrial sparks (blue book, on cat 1-3 sites) tend to earn even more.
Substation work can also pay very well.

to get on different jobs requires a few extra courses, such as EAKRING, BESC, CCNSG, being JIB graded is a must, in my opinion.
