I think I've managed to work out how to upload a pic. The mess on the power pole is about 4 feet from the verandah of the restaurant all uninsulated 3 phase 440v, the 3 white rectangular boxes are the fused supplies for the restaurant. Don't bother with IP ratings. This is apparently safe because it's so dangerous no-one goes any where near it. It wasn't this that set the grass roof on fire on NYE though, it was the fireworks. All fun!

Not bad, remember when I was away at sea and we had Goanese stewards a hoover turned up outside workshop with a note on it saying getting shocks of hoover. When the plug was checked someone had connected the earth cable to the neutral pin and as there was no neutral just 2 phases to get 230v there was 110v direct to metal frame off hoover.
