We are happy to announce the availability of ElectricalOM Release Candidate version! This is the version prior to the final release of the Software and includes new features, improvements and bug fixes.

Existing users can update the software through the auto update process after running the Software.

Check out some of the features of the new version:

Connections

In the new version the user is able to insert new elements such as Uninterruptible Power Supply, Extra Low Voltage Transformer, Back-up supply transfer switch, Junction Box and Motor Starter. This is done, through the insert menu strip at the Connections.

Multi supply feeders for switchboards and connections
The new version supports the installation of multiple supply feeders for switchboards and connections allowing the design of complex models.

Busbar Trunking System
We have enhanced the new version by including manufacture specific data for busbar trunking systems. This enables more comprehensive calculations and checks based for busbar thermal limit and peak short circuit withstand values.

Energy Based Discrimination Checks
ElectricalOM can support now Energy Based Discrimination Checks based on manufactures data. Also, from the discrimination study module, the user is able to preview the discrimination table used for the check.

Default symbols
We have extend the design capabilities of ElectricalOM by allowing the user to set his/her own symbols during designing of new circuits. For example the user can choose symbols per final circuit type, protective devices type and sources type.
