We are a new company which has been setup as part of a larger group company. We have an ongoing contract with guaranteed work for the next 3 years, and probably much more.

We are looking to recruit a full time electrician cards in or PAYE from the beginning of February. They must have experience of working in the commercial environment particularly retail would be an advantage. They will be responsible for carrying a variety of installation and maintenance work on mainly retail properties on a national basis, so some travel will be involved. The Normal working hours will be 40 per week with the possibility of some overtime.
You must be a fully qualified electrician with 17th edition, who is able to test their own work and therefore 2391 or equivalent would be an advantage. There will on accession be a requirement to work at heights and therefore IPAF or PASMA would be useful.
An interest or experience in Building management systems and / or smart home installations would be advantageous.
Applicants must have their own transport, but after the probationary period there will be the option of a company vehicle. They must have their own hand tools and basic power tools.
If you are interested or know of someone who is, please let me know.

What are the rates of pay?

Pay will be dependant on experience. But I should've mentioned that we need someone local to the office which is based in West Yorkshire.
